WHAT YOU’LL DO (THE FUN PART):
- Lead structural design for high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings across South Florida’s coastal environment
- Stamp drawings, guide design teams, and push projects from concept through construction
- Perform advanced structural analysis for concrete, steel, masonry, and specialty systems
- Oversee junior engineers, mentor technical staff, and elevate team standards
- Collaborate directly with architects, developers, and contractors who expect excellence
- Conduct site visits, solve field challenges, and ensure structures thrive under Florida codes + coastal loads
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (THE NON-NEGOTIABLES):
- Florida P.E. (S.E. a bonus)
- 8–15+ years of building design experience
- Deep knowledge of FBC, high-wind design, and coastal construction
- Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and communicate with clients
- Someone who can think on their feet and deliver solutions — not excuses
