
SENIOR TAX SPECIALIST
DESCRIPTION
International and M&A Tax Specialist with responsibilities including:
- Serving as a key contributor and adviser for the Tax Department on M&A related matters such as due diligence, risk assessment, and integration activities for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and investments.
- Advising on corporate income and indirect tax implications of new business operations or opportunities in assigned regions.
- Supporting the company's financial reporting requirements for income taxes (ASC 740).
- Supporting the company's US international compliance tax filings and developing new process efficiencies.
- Researching new international and domestic tax laws and advising on their implications for the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years in corporate income tax
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, linking sheets)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public accounting experience
- Understanding of US international tax rules
- Project management skills
- Experience working with senior management
