Advent Group Ministries is seeking a motivated, mission-aligned entry-level marketing professional to support and oversee our marketing and social media efforts during an important season of re‑emergence and growth. This role will help reintroduce Advent Group Ministries to donors, partners, and the broader community while strengthening visibility and positioning the organization as a trusted voice in mental health and counseling.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Support
- Support the execution of a strategic marketing plan focused on donor re‑engagement, community awareness, and brand visibility
- Help maintain consistent messaging aligned with Advent Group Ministries' mission, values, and voice
- Assist in refining and organizing brand messaging across platforms
Social Media Management
- Manage day‑to‑day social media activity across platforms (content scheduling, posting, and engagement)
- Assist with content creation including captions, basic graphics, and storytelling posts
- Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments as appropriate, and track basic performance metrics
Content & Communications
- Support the creation and coordination of content for email, website updates, and social media
- Assist in telling donor‑ and community‑focused stories that highlight impact, services, and leadership
- Help coordinate content related to events, workshops, panels, or partnerships
Community & Thought Leadership Support
- Assist with promoting panels, workshops, speaking engagements, or community conversations
- Support outreach efforts related to partnerships, PR opportunities, or collaborations
- Help position Advent Group Ministries as an active and credible voice in the mental health space
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong interest in marketing, communications, or social media
- Excellent written communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and eager to learn
- Alignment with Advent Group Ministries' mission and values
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Basic experience with tools such as Canva, social media schedulers, or email platforms
