The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to develop and grow a new territory in the Midwest. This territory is ripe for expansion, and the person in this role will have the exciting challenge of building relationships, introducing Foundry Eyewear to new practices, and setting the foundation for future growth. If you’re a self-starter with a passion for sales and a strong desire to create something impactful, this opportunity is for you.

As Territory Sales Manager, you will:

  • Build and grow a new territory, establishing Foundry Eyewear as the go-to eyewear brand for independent optical practices.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while expanding business with newly onboarded customers.
  • Conduct frame presentations and provide consultative sales support on frame selection, merchandising, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in your region.
  • Be a trusted advisor and brand ambassador for Foundry Eyewear.
  • Travel regularly within the new territory, with occasional overnight stays, and manage your territory with autonomy.

A Day in the Life

Your days will be dynamic and rewarding as you:

  • Meet new customers and introduce Foundry Eyewear—sharing the craftsmanship, style, and quality that set our brand apart.
  • Provide consultative support by helping practices select frames that meet their specific needs and align with patient demands.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to grow your territory and drive results.
  • Work with your team and leadership to get the right resources and support to succeed in your new market.
  • Be a part of an innovative, fun sales culture with a focus on team collaboration and individual growth.
  • An optician or optical professional ready to transition into outside sales.
  • An outside B2B sales representative from a related industry (medical, fashion, dental, etc.) with a passion for the optical industry.
  • Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by uncapped earning potential.
  • A self-starter who thrives in building new relationships and creating growth from the ground up.
  • A road warrior who enjoys being on the move and meeting new people.
  • A natural relationship builder, with excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven sales success (preferably in the optical, medical device, or B2B sectors).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for Foundry Eyewear and the ability to sell the craftsmanship and quality behind the brand.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel frequently within your new territory.

Schedule

  • Customer appointments generally take place Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Daily travel within the new Midwest territory, with occasional overnight stays required.
