Senior Strategy & Planning Manager – Turo
About the Team
Turo is entering an exciting new chapter of growth in the US, and we’re looking for a sharp, thoughtful and versatile Senior Strategy & Planning Manager to help us accelerate our momentum. This high‑impact role will support company‑wide planning efforts while taking the lead on shaping the end‑to‑end strategy for one of our key customer segments. The role will collaborate closely with senior leaders across the business—including product, marketing, data, and finance—to drive strategic clarity, enable cross‑functional alignment, and ensure execution is tightly linked to our most important customer and business goals.
What You Will Do
- Segment‑level strategy ownership – Own the strategic narrative and planning approach for one of Turo’s primary segments, operating with full autonomy to identify and solve complex problems.
- Planning & roadmapping – Lead the end‑to‑end strategic planning cycle for your assigned domain, working with functional teams and leaders to define priorities, identify key initiatives, and map out sequenced roadmaps to support execution.
- Cross‑functional strategy & alignment – Act as the connective tissue between Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive a shared understanding of strategic trade‑offs, sequencing, and risks, ensuring execution is tightly linked to top‑level business goals.
- Strategic performance reviews & insights – Synthesize complex insights across the business to inform leadership not only of performance versus targets, but also of a clear diagnosis of why. Proactively identify why results are deviating and propose rigorous solution pathways to capture new growth opportunities.
- Structured problem solving – Partner with cross‑functional teams to untangle complex systems and define key business challenges. Transform ambiguity into actionable plans and guide stakeholders toward clear, data‑driven decisions.
- Organizational effectiveness – Proactively identify and implement improvements to Turo’s planning, accountability, and reporting processes to elevate the overall performance culture and execution rigor.

- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment—you’re adaptable, self‑directed, and always looking for ways to improve how things work.
