**Job Summary**
**Auburn Advancement** is excited to begin the search for a **Donor Relations Stewardship Coordinator** . The individual in this position will represent Auburn University and will provide direct support in the Donor Relations Department of Auburn Advancement.
**Temporary Employment Services (TES )** , a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
+ Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
+ Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
+ Assistance with special projects
+ Seasonal work
+ Emergencies

**Essential Functions**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ preparing acknowledgement letters for the Senior Vice President of Advancement and the President of the university (25%);
+ preparing tribute notifications for gifts made in honor or in memory of an individual (25%);
+ assisting with special impact reporting (20%);
+ maintaining donor records with a high level of confidentiality;
+ assisting with planning and executing recognition and stewardship records, materials and events (10%);
+ monitors budget and prepares vouchers and statements for reconciliation (10%);
+ participating in other special projects, which may include gift agreement related projects, donor societies, marketing functions or document templates for the unit and partner units (10%).

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution plus 1 year of work experience in public relations work and general office operations
**OR**
+ Master's degree
**Expectations:**
+ Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of public relations work is required.
+ Candidates should have work experience that required them to exercise independent judgment and discretion to deal with routine to moderately complex administrative matters.
+ Candidates should possess the ability to deal creatively, confidently and professionally with a wide variety of individual donors; and have the ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects.
+ Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, written communication skills, intermediate/advanced computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook.

**Desired Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
