What You’ll Do Campaign Management & Execution – 45%
Lead RFP creation and review of social partners, compile proposal analysis, and drive partner negotiations
Manage buys from setup to keyword selection, through targeting buckets, optimization, and pacing/reporting
Determine setup, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements for full impact and efficiency of each campaign
Lead monitoring and reporting of campaign performance and proactively communicate issues to internal team and client when necessary
Oversee trafficking and site tagging, ensure sites are enabled and functioning properly, QA all pixels
Issue specs documents and ensure all materials are received from creative agency
Work alongside Digital team on post-campaign reconciliation and billing
Social Media Strategy – 10%
Develop strategic social plans in tandem with the Digital & Business Solutions teams
Integrate social insights into planning processes, combining data, research, and analytics into recommendations
Collaborate with other Horizon Next teams towards 360 partnerships and extensions
Participate in team brainstorms for plan development
Monitor trends, tools, opportunities in paid social media
Create and present media-specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks
Reporting & Analysis – 30%
Combine data analysis and client feedback to pull together recommendations and optimizations; configure, operate, and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives
Provide active input on optimization strategies and communicate challenges and opportunities to internal teams and clients
Use data during and after campaigns to draw conclusions about clients’ business goals
Parse large datasets for critical thinking and actionable insights
Collaborate with Horizon Next Analytics & BI teams to standardize data across accounts
Provide data for dashboards/Excel trackers as needed, ensuring accuracy
Relationship Management – 10%
Ensure collaboration with key partners during planning, including Partners, Creative Agencies and Business Solutions
Identify problems with Supervisor and recommend solutions
Keep Supervisor updated on deliverables
Engage with other Horizon Next departments (e.g., Business Solutions, Traffic, Operations)
Apply knowledge of client business and industry to enhance relationships
Mentorship – 5%
Contribute to junior team member development (train Assistant Planners, onboard new Planners)

Preferred Skills & Experience
1+ years of paid social media experience
Basic knowledge of advanced analytics and performance media
Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram is crucial; additional platforms preferred

Salary Range
$64,350.00 - $85,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
