Base pay range $15.00/hr - $15.00/hr Position Summary Andretti Host is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and providing a fun, exciting atmosphere. All positions assist guests in various areas, follow high standards of quality, and work to achieve guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner. Meet, greet and seat guests to ensure positive experiences. Make fair and consistent seating decisions for guests and parties. Provide information regarding all aspects of the restaurant and company, including specials. Tend to guest special needs and requests, including ensuring service staff and kitchen are aware of allergies. Assist with delivering food to guestsli> Support the Busser department in set up, breakdown and cleaning of tables. Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence. Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive experiences. Maintain a constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, products and policies and procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and coworkers. Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned. Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred. Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures. Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday. Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends. Physical Requirements Walk or stand for extended periods of time. Lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis. Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs. Communicate quickly and accurately. Work environment may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds. Manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
