Night Yard Jockey
Join US Foods as a Night Yard Jockey and help keep our operations moving smoothly during the night shift.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday from 4:45 pm until completion. Some Fridays possible.
Pay: $23.43 per hour.

Main Responsibilities
Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignments.
Keep assigned equipment coupled.
Move trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse Supervisor.
Load, unload, or merge loads between environments.
Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers.
Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets.
Place backhauls in the correct door to be unloaded by warehouse.
Ensure all equipment is paired and ready for the next day’s deliveries.
Work with mechanics nightly.
Attend all required company meetings.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively each shift.
Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions.
What You Bring
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
Minimum of six months non‑CDL commercial driving experience preferred.
Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred and may be required.
Must pass a DOT physical.
Must read and communicate in English – hold a conversation, understand road signs, respond to inquiries, and record information on reports.
