Base pay range $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr Our client, a manufacturer of industrial dust-control fans, is seeking a technical drafter to join their team. The Technical Designer is responsible for creating and providing fan system layouts for the sales team, evaluating project requirements, and determining fan system components to meet customer’s needs. Functions and Responsibilities Design fan system layouts for sales team and customers Specify fan system components based on customer needs Maintain layout queue and notify sales staff weekly of backlog Correspond with sales team and customers to provide support and clarify project specs Maintain and update product manuals and bulletins Maintain and update fan layout template and 2D control panel drawings Provide documentation and support to the sales and service departments Assist the Operations Department as needed Qualifications Proficient in 2D CAD software and working knowledge of 3D CAD Ability to coordinate, monitor, and manage small to medium-sized projects Ability to understand basic mechanical and electrical terminology and technology Success Factors Humble: Great team players lack excessive ego or concerns about status.
