New Orleans 301 Hord Street New Orleans, LA 70123, USA Description iTA is looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor/Writer with exemplary customer service skills to join our team in New Orleans, LA, working a Monday - Friday shift (7a - 5p), no weekends! ITA is Louisiana's largest International truck dealer, covering the New Orleans, Slidell, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. ITA sells International-branded new trucks and all makes and models of pre-owned trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleet’s needs. We also offer leasing services through Idealease of Acadiana. Our ideal candidate will be a dependable, team-player with experience working within a diesel dealership environment. This is a hands‑on position that requires leading by example. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet customers promptly and courteously Work with customers to clearly translate repair needs to techs Schedule repairs to maximize work efficiency and quality of work performed Work with customers on scheduling repairs in the shop Check and review work in process and follow‑up for completion as scheduled while exceeding the customer’s expectations Organize daily work and assist in assigning jobs to mechanics Record keeping, filing, and GPS tracking Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Program Assist with rental equipment check‑in/check‑outs Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Maintenance experience requested but not required. Demonstrated leadership skills. Detailed knowledge of shop industry. Work well within a team. Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Demonstrated awareness of all health and safety protocols. Manage time efficiently. Effective multi‑tasking. Strong organizational skills. Basic computer skills.
