Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager to evaluate the risk level of our Custom Pac Rim commercial transactions. The role is hybrid and bi‑lingual is preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluate financial statements (tax returns, fiscal statements, and personal financials) to determine creditworthiness. Identify credit strengths, weaknesses, industry risks, and anomalies, and recommend loan covenant and monitoring requirements. Collaborate with Relationship Managers to explain decisions, answer loan request questions, and resolve potential problem loans. Prepare comprehensive credit summaries in coordination with Relationship and Credit Managers. Support portfolio management by addressing covenant violations, completing annual reviews/renewals, and identifying growth opportunities. Analyze financial performance and risk profiles of portfolio clients. Recommend appropriate loan structures and collateral using financial models and analytical tools. Ensure compliance with bank policies, risk appetite, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Preferred 3–4 years of experience in credit or lending within a corporate or banking environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. Strong analytical, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
Salary
$69,000.00 – $127,800.00 (Salaried)
