JR-2025-100912# # **Position Summary**Guggenheim Investments is seeking an Associate to join its Product Strategy team, reporting to the Head of Fixed Income Product Strategy. This role will serve as a liaison between distribution and investment teams to represent Guggenheim’s full suite of investment capabilities to current and prospective clients and internal partners. In addition, the candidate should act as an extension of the portfolio management team, with the ability to understand and explain Guggenheim's portfolio positioning, performance attribution, the rationale for portfolio holdings and activity, risk attributes, views of the team and convey this information effectively to Institutional and Retail distribution and home office research teams. This role is based in our Santa Monica office, full-time.# **Responsibilities****Key Responsibilities:*** Serve as liaison between distribution and investment teams to represent full suite of investment capabilities to current and prospective clients and internal partners* Act as an extension of the portfolio management team, with the ability to understand and explain Guggenheim's portfolio positioning, performance attribution, the rationale for portfolio holdings and activity, risk attributes, views of the team and convey this information effectively to Institutional and Retail distribution teams and external clients* Provide support in preparing market commentary, performance reports, and responses to ad-hoc client requests.* Collaborate with distribution and client service teams to help identify new business opportunities and support existing client relationships.* Contribute to product positioning efforts by assisting with research, data analysis, and preparation of materials for campaigns in partnership with senior team members and marketing.* Help collect and analyze data on client needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends to support product development and strategy discussions.* Serve as a resource for internal teams by helping address questions on existing products and supporting product development initiatives.* Assist with client engagement activities, including preparing materials for external client meetings and supporting cross-marketing efforts.* Maintain regular communication with investment and distribution teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and client needs.# **Qualifications**Basic Qualifications:* BA/BS degree with a graduation date by January or May 2026* Internship experience in Asset Management or Investment Management* Relevant coursework in finance, investments, or data analysis* Advanced Excel skills* Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills* Ability to balance multiple workstreamsPreferred Qualifications:* A college degree in Finance, Economics, or STEM, or related fields is preferred, must be scheduled to graduate by January or May 2026* Solid understanding of the current market environment and various asset classes (Fixed-Income, Equity, Alternative Investments)* Knowledge of investment business, buy-side processes, and investment products* Experience in front office applications is preferred (Aladdin, CRD, Bloomberg)* Skilled in Microsoft Office applications; experience and ability to write and create Excel macros and create thoughtful and well-organized PowerPoint presentations* Python experience is a plus# **Salary Range**Annual base salary between$100,000.00-$105,000.00The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.
