Junior Loan Officer – Reverse Mortgage Division
We are looking for a motivated and driven Jr. Loan Officer with at least 2 years of experience in residential mortgage loan origination to join our expanding Reverse Mortgage Division. This is a full‑time, hybrid position offering paid training, commission‑based earnings, a comprehensive benefits package, and company‑provided laptop and office equipment.
As a Jr. Loan Officer, you will support and learn from a Senior Loan Officer while actively developing your sales skills and building a pipeline of professional referral partners within your local community. You’ll be responsible for handling inbound corporate leads, performing basic loan calculations, and establishing new relationships with Financial Planners, Realtors, and other local professionals.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of residential mortgage loan origination experience.
NMLS licensed in California under DFPI (required).
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce is a strong plus.
Prior experience with reverse mortgages or corporate lead handling is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Work under the guidance of a Senior Loan Officer to enhance performance and production.
Engage in consistent outreach to Financial Planners, Realtors, and other referral partners through calls, visits, and networking events.
Conduct internet research to identify new business opportunities and assist in problem‑solving.
Manage follow‑ups and lead pipelines with professionalism and urgency.
Maintain accurate documentation and utilize CRM tools effectively.
Perform basic loan calculations and assist clients with understanding product options.

Resourceful in conducting online research and solving client or process issues.
Self‑motivated and organized, capable of managing time and tasks independently.
Outgoing and confident, with the ability to build relationships quickly.
Proactive, willing to make cold calls and initiate face‑to‑face outreach in the community.
Detail‑oriented, with strong numerical skills and attention to compliance.
Coachable and collaborative, eager to grow under mentorship and contribute to a team environment.
The Perks
Paid Training, $17.27 per hour base rate + Commission
