Primary Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a supervisor responsible for providing, planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Crypto & Cyber Systems Division (CCSD), IT Operations Management Chief.

Duties

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of CCSD, ensuring that Cryptologic & Cyber Systems Division complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

Analyzes complex operational and mission processes and/or a variety of unusual problems, questions, or conditions relative to develop and employ command, control, and mission information, processes, and systems in order to support related mission activities and performs required testing, troubleshoots, and corrects system and applications software discrepancies.

Represents CCSD with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Serves as technical knowledge management base in the areas of hardware, software, and communications technology.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship Required

All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

Selectee is expected to be granted with and/or maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the position.

Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.

Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays and/or overtime and may require occasional 12-hour shifts.

The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.

Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. The appropriate IA certification must be achieved within 6 months of assignment of these duties.

The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. A valid driver's license is required for the position.
