Job Summary M1 Support Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the daily operations of the HR department. This role will be responsible for various HR functions, including administering pay, benefits, and leave, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations across multiple domestic and international locations. The ideal candidate is an organized and detail‑oriented professional eager to grow their HR career in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities HR Operations and Compliance

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations (EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).

Maintain HR systems, employee records, and compliance documentation.

Process personnel action documents with accuracy and efficiency.

Support HR activities across multiple locations, including remote and overseas sites.

Employee Relations and Performance Management

Serve as a resource for employees and management on HR‑related inquiries.

Assist management in counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement initiatives.

Promote a positive work environment and support employee engagement efforts.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes.

Assist in recruitment activities and candidate screenings as needed.

Benefits and Leave Administration

Assist in benefits administration, including annual open enrollment.

Support employees with benefits‑related inquiries and leave management.

Training and Development

Facilitate training and development programs.

Track and ensure compliance with employee training requirements.

Special Projects and HR Support

Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Provide HR support to leadership and employees as needed.

Additional Duties as Assigned Additional duties will be assigned as required to support business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional HR‑related education or certifications preferred.

Experience

1‑3 years of HR experience in a generalist, HR coordinator, or related role.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Knowledge

Familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws.

Soft Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Self‑motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines.

May be required to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

Working Conditions

Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Occasional travel may be required to support HR functions at various locations.

May need to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines or handle urgent HR matters.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
