We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join

our legal team and handle multiple cases involving insurance coverage and

litigation matters. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will provide essential support to

our attorneys in all stages of the litigation process. This is an excellent opportunity

for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field.

*Responsibilities:*

 Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions,

and discovery requests/responses

 Manage case files and maintain organized electronic and physical document

repositories

 Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and

trial binders

 Review and analyze discovery responses, document productions, and other

relevant documents and prepare summaries of same

 Organize and maintain electronic case files within the Firm’s software/case

management system

 Involvement with medical record collection, medical record and billing

summaries, and medical chronologies

 Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on case-specific issues

 Provide administrative support as needed

*Requirements:*

 Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program

 Minimum of 5+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, the area of insurance defense

 Strong understanding of California civil procedure and litigation practices

 Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities

 Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team

environment

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software

 Professional and courteous to clients and staff

 Demonstrate good ethics, judgment and maintain the confidentiality of files

 Ability to work in a fast -paced environment, handle multiple assignments,

and work well under pressure

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
