Position Overview
The Senior Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of sales and use tax and corporate income tax. This role suits a tax professional who can balance hands‑on execution with strategic planning, and who is comfortable collaborating across multiple departments. Responsibilities
Lead preparation, filing and compliance for sales and use tax across multiple jurisdictions Oversee federal and state corporate income tax filings, provision support and quarterly estimates Manage tax audits, notices, nexus changes and regulatory updates Evaluate tax implications related to new locations, business initiatives and operational expansion Partner with Finance, Operations and Legal on tax‑related questions and planning Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement tax technology improvements Coordinate external tax firms and advisors Qualifications
7 or more years of tax experience including both indirect and corporate income tax Strong understanding of multi‑state tax environments CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred Demonstrated ability to advise leadership, interpret tax issues and drive compliance Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast‑moving business Location: Irvine, CA Base pay range: $75.00/hr – $85.00/hr
