Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Leasing Manager to join our dynamic growing team. The candidate will be responsible for: managing the leasing processes for our retail shopping centers, cultivating relationships with potential tenants, and ensuring that our centers are fully leased with high-quality retail brands. This role requires a strong understanding of the retail landscape and exceptional negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Management: Oversee the leasing process from initial contact through lease execution for assigned retail properties.
Tenant Acquisition: Identify and target potential tenants, conduct outreach, nurture relationships, and secure lease agreements.
Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and demographic data to inform leasing strategies and marketing efforts.
Property Tours: Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing the benefits and advantages of the shopping center.
Negotiation: Negotiate lease terms and conditions while ensuring alignment with company policies and financial goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with property management, marketing, and development teams to align leasing strategies with overall business objectives.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant interactions, and market insights to provide regular updates to management.
Networking: Attend trade shows, conventions, and industry events to represent the company and build relationships with key stakeholders in retail.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to current and prospective tenants and partners to foster long-term relationships and tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years experience in retail leasing.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
Proven track record of successfully leasing retail properties.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of retail market trends and tenant requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and leasing software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
