Location: Onsite

– West Columbia, SC Hire Type : Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate : $30/hr Benefits:

We’re seeking a driven Recruiter & Key Account Manager to support one of our largest clients onsite in West Columbia, SC. This role blends hands‑on recruiting, contractor care, and strategic account management, giving you the opportunity to directly impact both client success and employee satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the onsite representative of Sterling Engineering at a key client facility. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and proactively source candidates for light industrial and technical roles.

Manage the full‑cycle recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting, and coordinating hiring logistics.

Deliver a seamless onboarding experience while ensuring compliance with Sterling and client policies.

Act as the primary point of contact for Sterling contractors on‑site—supporting performance, attendance, and workplace concerns.

Drive contractor engagement and retention by addressing issues with professionalism and urgency.

Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in Sterling’s ATS and client systems.

Collaborate with Sterling’s internal teams to ensure outstanding client satisfaction.

What You Bring

2-5+ years of recruiting and account management experience, preferably in staffing or talent acquisition.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience filling light industrial and skilled technician roles is highly desirable.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role.

Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution abilities.

Proficiency with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office.

Flexibility to travel domestically as needed.
