Job Title:
Tax Analyst IV
Location:
Brookview Promenade, Knoxville, TN preferred, but Remote is fine (must be EST hours)
Pay rate:
$55/hour - $60.50/hour

Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Overview The Tax Analyst IV is responsible for reviewing tax liabilities and tax practices across the organization, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness. This role sits within the Global Procure to Pay organization and supports recurring tax operations, audits, and special projects. This position requires strong hands‑on tax experience as well as managerial experience.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day
Prepare monthly tax filings, including indirect and direct taxes, in compliance with federal, state, local, and municipal regulations.
Assist with preparation of supporting files and workpapers for annual income tax filings, transfer pricing filings, and other required annual filings.
Support the Tax Supervisor or Senior Analysts during internal and external tax audits and respond to information requests.
Prepare tax account reconciliations and provide internal control support related to tax accounts.
Maintain clear, accurate, and well‑organized tax records and filings.
Assist the Tax Supervisor with recurring activities, special projects, and shifting priorities as they arise.
Qualifications Must Have Skills / Requirements:
7+ years of experience with financial ERP systems and accounts payable.
Hands‑on experience with local income tax, VAT, and other transactional tax filings.
Working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and AFIP interfaces.
Prior managerial experience.
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with accounting, finance, and corporate tax partners.
Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Additional Notes
No overtime expected.
No possibility for extension or conversion.
One interview round with the hiring manager.
