D365 F&O Functional Consultant (Finance) Jackson James partners with an end‑user in Alabama, who are looking for a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to help with an implementation.

Responsibilities

Configure, optimize, and maintain Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations, particularly within key financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Capital/Asset management).

Provide hands‑on training and guidance to end users, driving adoption and maximizing system value.

Serve as the key liaison between Finance and Technology, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and implemented successfully.

Requirements

6+ years’ experience with D365 F&O

Experience configuring and optimizing the financial modules

Capable of delivering relevant training

Strong ability to act as the bridge between the finance and the implementation team to ensure business goals are met

A background in Accounting/Finance is a plus
