Summary Of Responsibilities This role serves as the primary HR resource for assigned business units within a fast‑paced theme park environment. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist independently manages employee relations matters and the ADA interactive process. The role requires sound judgment, emotional resilience, and the ability to navigate change while supporting employees and leaders effectively.
Required Education And Experience
3–5+ years of HR experience with ownership of employee relations cases and workplace investigations
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including ADA, FMLA, and wage and hour compliance
Experience supporting operational or frontline employee populations
Preferred Education And Experience
Hospitality, theme park, or similarly fast‑paced service industry experience
Experience operating effectively in complex organizations with competing priorities
Essential Duties
Manage the ADA interactive process, leading compliant conversations with employees and leaders to assess needs, evaluate accommodations, and support implementation
Lead employee relations investigations, including intake, fact‑finding, documentation, and recommendations
Provide HR guidance to leaders and employees on performance management, corrective action, terminations, leaves, benefits, and policy interpretation
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations
Support day‑to‑day HR needs of assigned business units and collaborate with operational teams to resolve attendance, scheduling, and workforce issues
Support engagement and communication initiatives by partnering with leaders to promote clarity and trust
Assist with change initiatives by helping leaders and employees implement organizational decisions
Contribute to broader HR initiatives as capacity allows, focusing primarily on employee relations and ADA administration

Compensation
This position has an approved annual salary of $56,000, based on role scope, internal equity, and current business needs
