Nine-day fortnight option

About this position In this role, you will prepare civil engineering designs and cost estimates for roads, drainage and other infrastructure projects. You will also develop specifications and liaise with external organisations to obtain necessary approvals and permits required for the design project to proceed to construction.
Working within our Engineering Services team, this is an opportunity to showcase and strengthen your technical expertise and project management skills and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality design projects for the community.
What we are looking for To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Sound knowledge of road and drainage design, including best practice and standards.
High proficiency in 3D road design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Site Design or similar software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prepare reports and meet deadlines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil Site Design will be highly regarded.
Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering
Driver's licence
Current National Police clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition
