Job Description Vanir is seeking a Construction Manager with proven leadership quality and strong communication skills who can build on our continued success in various sectors in Central California.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Providing construction management services on various types of construction projects

Strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance to project requirements.

Responsible as onsite liaison with contractor and oversight of progress of construction

Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities

Manage project controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures or as required by the client

Conduct project meetings and provide meeting minutes, documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information

Ensure contractors, architects, and engineers will adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment

Provide management of project logistics, organization and safety

Ensure project closeout to obtain guarantees, warranties, and related provisions for turnover to the owner.

Perform other duties as required to ensure project success

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture is required (Extensive relevant construction management experience in place of education may be considered)

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager is required

Experience with public projects in California is preferred

Ability to handle multiple contractors and multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously is required

Strong oral and written communication skills are required

Knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices are required

Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related Construction Management systems are preferred

Certified Construction Manager preferred

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $95,000.00-$105,000.00 .
