Community Relations Assistant - Summer Student Position
Various Positions
Job Description:
Coordinate summer food program for families in community housing
Track program expenditures
Assist and coordinate program development and delivery
Liaise with community organizations to ensure service delivery
Organize community events/opportunities for low-income people living in community housing within Hastings County
Provide information regarding available community programs to community housing residents
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Enrolled as post-secondary student (College/University) and returning to full-time education at a post-secondary institution in September 2026.
Strong interpersonal & organizational skills
Ability to prioritize
Experience/education in social services field required
Experience/education relating to children, youth and seniors an asset
Experience with statistical analysis is an asset
The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Must have own vehicle or regular access to a vehicle
Clear police background check
Confidentiality Agreement must be signed
Work Location:
Belleville and/or Trenton
Position Length:
May 11 – August 28, 2026
Closing date to Apply:

Wage Range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour + 4% vacation per pay
