Foreman – Construction

Hourly – up to $27/hour, based on experience

Home every night – no overnight travel required

Position Summary The Foreman is responsible for leading field crews and overseeing daily job‑site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role that works closely with project management to keep work moving on schedule. All projects are local or regional — employees return home every night. No overnight travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily field operations on commercial and industrial construction projects
Coordinate crew activities, subcontractors, materials, and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Ensure work is completed according to schedule, quality expectations, and safety requirements
Perform hands‑on construction work as needed (concrete, carpentry, steel, or general contracting tasks)
Promote and enforce job‑site safety policies
Communicate daily progress, issues, and material needs to project leadership
Track labor productivity and job‑site efficiency
Train, mentor, and support crew members
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Foreman, Lead, or similar supervisory role
Experience in commercial or industrial construction
Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
Concrete foundations and flatwork
Carpentry
Steel erection or metal buildings
General contracting
Ability to read and understand construction drawings
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Valid driver’s license
