Senior Movable Bridge Mechanical Technical Specialist

Coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development

Establish client relations, and participate in the marketing, design and production meetings with regard to mechanical systems

Assume the mechanical lead on many projects

Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance

Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplines

Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule

Track the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work efforts with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed‑upon schedule

Work with the Project Manager, Regional Controller and Regional Director for project reviews with corporate management as needed

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Movable Bridge Design, Hydraulic Structures Design, or Heavy Infrastructure.

Experience with AutoDesk Inventor.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience

A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported

Aptitude and demonstrated hands‑on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported

Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported

Proven ability to work in multi‑disciplinary environments

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
