Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with bankers, realtors, builders, and the community to attract new business.
Manage customer interactions to ensure seamless transactions and maintain the highest level of service throughout their mortgage journey.
Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine the best fit.
Ensure all origination activities comply fully with state and federal lending laws.
Maintain a strong understanding of company loan policies and all federal and state regulations.
Maintain an active MLO license with the NMLS and state. Follow all requirements of the SAFE Act.
Demonstrate excellent customer/interpersonal service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work effectively in a time‑sensitive environment to meet strict deadlines.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year as a self‑generating mortgage lender.
