Job Summary
Introba is seeking a Mechanical Designer for our growing team in our Dallas, TX location.
Responsibilities
Prepare drawings
Site Surveys
Work Across Disciplines
Code review and investigation
Equipment layout and sizing
Generate plans and coordinate with other trades
Assist in the review of shop drawing submittals from contractors
Assist in the inspection, review, and preparation of site inspection reports.
Interact with building owners, property management, architects, and members of design and construction team.
Assist in review of codes to ensure designs meet all applicable codes and safety standards.
Assist in providing construction cost opinions
Attend and support technical societies
Qualifications
Associates or Technical Degree in Building Systems Engineer, Architectural Engineering or related accredited Associate's degree program field.
0-4 years' experience in facility design or construction
Highly motivated person to take on challenges and challenges oneself to exceed expectations, and continue to absorb information to progress their career
Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily task
Experience with model coordination.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Basic understanding of construction detailing and techniques.
Willingness to be given instruction with the ability to plan, prioritize, organize and manage responsibilities on multiple projects.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
