Competitive Pay Based on Experience
Paid Time Off (PTO+) added to your balance after 30 days of employment; immediately accrue more PTO as you work!

Essential Functions of Activities Assistant
Schedule, pre‑plan and implement floor activities based on center activity schedule
Use monthly calendar ideas to plan and organize special floor activities
Prepare special snacks with residents
Set up the dining room tables for activities
Clean up after all activities
Complete required logs and charting
Keeping all activity areas clean, safe and free from clutter
Assist residents to and from common areas as stated by their care plan
Assist other departments with residents as needed and required
Weekends, holidays and evenings required
Qualifications of Activities Assistant
High School Diploma or general equivalency is required
6 college credits in applicable study as required by NCCAP is preferred
500 hours of experience in activity programming is preferred
Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant or NCCAP Certification is preferred
Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
