Description Part‑time position: 32 hours per week, weekdays, day shift.
Responsibilities include:
Providing a variety of therapeutic social, recreational and diversional events for participants.
Conducting individual assessments to identify participants’ interests and needs.
Developing and implementing a range of individual and group activities.
Participating in interdisciplinary care planning.
Coordinating recreation documentation for assigned participants.
Assisting with training and supervising assigned aides.
Leading facility‑wide participant‑centered events.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire).
Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience providing recreation with the elderly or disabled.
