JOB SUMMARY Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing gas plant operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
No Licensure or Certification Required.

Approximately 60%-100% of shift outdoors in a wide range of temperatures; Exposure to chemical vapors, high level of noise or heat that may require PPE, Work will be in 12 hour shifts, May be required to lift or carry up to 30 pounds, push or pull heavy weights, ride a bicycle and climb ladders
Required to follow all safety and environmental regulations and procedures
Accountable for the operations amine, condensate stabilization, mol – sieve dehydration, and residue gas compression
Analyzes specifications and controls continuous operation process units
Reads, operating logs, test results of amine samples, and laboratory recommendations to determine changes in equipment controls required to optimize processing
Takes readings within gas plant
Monitors and operates specialized equipment making adjustments as needed/authorized
Required to meet certification and pass both a written and skills test to move up levels within the Operator II role (May be required to complete certification and level progression in a specified timeframe)
Experienced Operators may be required to train/mentor Operator Trainees or entry level operators
Prepares equipment for maintenance and obtain work permits for maintenance, write up work orders so maintenance can be performed on specific equipment including LOTO
Must successfully complete refresher training as required
Must complete a detailed shift handover for next shift change
Performs other duties as assigned
