Position Summary ALL POSITIONS ARE ON-SITE IN SPRINGFIELD, MO NO REMOTE WORK
Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Operations and the Director of Communications and Research in promoting the ministries and missionaries of the departments through media.
Provide assistance with planning and logistics of departmental events.
Project management.
Create and send digital department newsletters to missionaries and districts.
Write stories for U.S. Missions.
Update links on our website with newsletters.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and organizing public relations activities and events.
Work with an established social media strategies for assigned ministries including monthly communications.
Create content for social media websites in line with assigned ministry's brand.
Qualifications
College degree in public relations, journalism, communications or related field.
Knowledge of principles of public communication, information and relations.
Knowledge of principles and techniques of printing and digital photography and graphic effects.
Excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills.
PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator).
