Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Athletic Trainer located in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing care to student-athletes, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and education. Additionally, the role involves designing and implementing training programs, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with coaching staff and healthcare professionals. Ensuring athlete safety and adherence to school and state regulations is a primary component of the position.
Qualifications
Expertise in injury prevention, injury assessment, and athlete rehabilitation techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, coaches, parents, and medical professionals
Organizational and record-keeping skills for maintaining detailed documentation of injuries, treatments, and progress
Knowledge of sports training, injury management, and emergency care
Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and current licensure in the state of Texas
CPR and First Aid certification
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Experience working with school-aged athletes is a plus
