We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Management - Technical to lead a multi-disciplinary team of product, program, engineering, and science in NYC. This leader will own business-critical features that directly impact billions of dollars in top-line growth for 2026 and beyond.
Key job responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Execution
Define and execute 1-3 year product strategy for catalog accuracy algorithms and data models
Drive Stores-wide goals and programs with measurable business impact
Make high-judgment trade-offs between opportunity, resources, and sustainability
Establish scalable mechanisms for cross-team collaboration and operational excellence
Executive Engagement
Independently represent the organization in VP-level business and technical forums
Author and present strategic documents and planning narratives
Influence cross-functional priorities using data-driven arguments
Communicate vision to diverse audiences (engineering, science, business, finance)
Technical & Organizational Leadership
Lead and inspect Generative AI-powered clustering algorithms and distributed systems at Amazon scale
Navigate complex dependencies across Stores, Supply Chain, and partner organizations
Build partnerships with stakeholders to drive worldwide expansion and new business models
Own the technical bar for systems that ingest, enrich, and organize billions of products
Team & People Management
Lead a high-performing team of managers and senior individual contributors
Build succession plans and develop future leaders
Foster psychological safety and inclusive culture
Drive engagement, retention, and career growth initiatives
Attract and hire exceptional talent (engineers, scientists, product managers, program managers)
Qualifications
6+ years of team management experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product – Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on the number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
