Job Summary: The Breakfast Line Cook at Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina is a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of our breakfast menu items. As a part time individual contributor, the Breakfast Line Cook will be responsible for working closely with the kitchen team to prepare and execute breakfast orders for guests. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience and a passion for creating delicious breakfast dishes.
Compensation & Benefits This position offers a competitive salary of $15 to $18 per hour, paid biweekly. Employees will also receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.
Responsibilities
Prepare breakfast menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and work area
Stock and maintain supplies and equipment required for breakfast service
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist with inventory kitchen supplies
Train and mentor new kitchen staff as needed
Requirements
Previous cooking experience, preferably in a commercial setting
Knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and recipes
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
