Position Summary Working independently or as part of a production team, the Wall Crew Member is responsible for constructing and finishing interior wall components for modular home projects. This role ensures wall assemblies are built accurately according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and specifications to determine opening sizes and placement for cold air returns, windows, pocket doors, and standard doors

Identify, gather, and prepare tools and materials required for each work order

Assemble and finish interior wall components according to production specifications

Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards

Perform work in accordance with all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with team members and supervisors

Support workflow efficiency by coordinating tasks within the production team

Perform additional duties as assigned based on production needs

Qualifications & Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, floor plans, and work orders

Ability to use both manual and power tools safely and effectively

Ability to perform overhead physical work for extended periods

Basic math skills and ability to use measuring devices to calculate dimensions

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Ability to lift up to 80 pounds comfortably and consistently

Valid driver’s license

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts

Moderate noise levels; hearing protection may be required in designated areas

Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas requiring safety glasses and PPE

Climate-controlled indoor work environment

Frequent standing and walking for extended periods

Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of materials up to 80 pounds

Requires manual dexterity, coordination, physical stamina, and the ability to move arms and legs quickly

Schedule & Travel

Full-time position

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Evening hours may be required based on production demands

Travel is primarily not expected, though occasional out-of-area travel may be required
