Phiston Technologies is looking for a
Junior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who’s excited to learn, build real hardware, and contribute to innovative electromechanical products from concept through production.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to support the design, development, and testing of electromechanical systems used in high‑reliability hardware products.
What You’ll Do
Assist in the design and development of electromechanical assemblies and components.
Create and update 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using
SolidWorks .
Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate systems.
Help perform basic engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design reviews.
Participate in design‑for‑manufacturability (DFM) efforts and production support.
Document designs, changes, and test results throughout the development process.
What We’re Looking For Required
Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field .
0–3 years of experience (internships, co‑ops, or project work count!).
Familiarity with
SolidWorks
or similar CAD software.
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hands‑on engineering environment.
Nice to Have
Exposure to electromechanical systems, motors, sensors, or wiring.
Internship or project experience with hardware products.
Familiarity with GD&T, DFM, or basic FEA concepts.
Interest in industrial, security, or hardware equipment design.
