What Drives Success Under general supervision, the analyst is responsible for analyzing the pricing of goods and services to remain competitive in the market. The role operates independently in most aspects of pricing. Responsibilities include:
Preparing profitability analysis for incremental sales opportunities.
Preparing historical pricing reports.
Using internal cost information to analyze competitive pricing of products or proposed cost reductions.
Assisting in market research and the preparation of recommendations regarding pricing policies.
Assisting in maintaining historical pricing data for the organization and its competitors.
Assisting in analyzing market trends and competitor data to forecast pricing models.
Assisting in providing insights on the impact of pricing changes on growth rates and profitability.
Performing analysis to understand customer price sensitivity and the impact of pricing changes on the business.
Collaborating with product management and field sales management on price development.
Performing administrative tasks in support of creating, maintaining, updating and distributing pricing information.
What We Are Looking For Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least 1 year of related experience.
Skills:
Strong mathematical and analytical abilities; understanding of financial data, competitive markets, and pricing dynamics; knowledge of competitor products; experience with SAP query design, Microsoft Office, advanced Excel and Access; effective written and verbal communication.
What We Offer Compensation This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between
$60,800 – $79,800
annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company’s applicable plan and are not eligible for overtime.
