The Jr. Capital Markets Analyst reports to the VP Capital Markets and supports functions related to preparing loans for sale (GNMA MBS and MSR) and post‑sale activities (PA reconciliation). The Analyst will also maintain and develop policies and procedures tied to assigned tasks. Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate cross‑functionally within Capital Markets to aid in selling and purchasing loans. Provide pricing and transaction support for agency co‑issue transactions, MBS pools, and agency transactions, ensuring LOS is up to date. Reconcile loans sold to identify differences between expected and actual gains. Execute pricing models/tools to conduct best execution analysis, pull‑through analysis, and optimization to maximize profitability; provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting. Contribute to model and technology improvement across analytic and database tools for risk and operational processes. Develop new processes to improve business functions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum of two years in the mortgage industry (Capital Markets or MSR Valuation preferred). Proficient with Excel (VBA is a plus). Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and/or Python is a plus. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and strong presentation skills. Detail oriented and organized. Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment. Strong ability to prioritize and reprioritize as necessary. Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Location

This position can be remote. If you reside within a 30‑mile radius of the corporate office (Irvine, CA), it will be a mandatory in‑office Monday‑Friday position. Pay Disclosure

The starting base salary range for this position is $70,000 annually. The actual base depends on work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Disclaimer Statement
