Position Title
EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) OR CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Reports To Occupational Health Manager
Job Objective Provide medical assistance to our Pilgrim’s employees.
Job Summary
Provide first‑aid treatments to injured employees throughout the facility.
Carry, lift, and maneuver a first‑aid response bag (30–40 lbs), back board, stretcher, AED, wheelchair, and other medical necessities.
Perform drug and alcohol screening for powered industrial truck operators, and as requested.
Conduct annual hearing testing for facility employees.
Assist in conducting daily restrictive duty checks.
Document and maintain nursing documentation after each employee visit or communication.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Be courteous and professional when communicating with employees.
Notify the Safety Department regarding any serious incident.
Remain flexible with work schedule.
Perform other duties as reasonably associated with the above.
Qualifications
Strong leadership skills.
Safety as a top priority.
Experience supervising in an industrial setting.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced atmosphere.
Strong mechanical background.
Experience running a computerized control panel.
Reasonable computer skills.
Willing to travel for CPR instructor training (if not already certified).
State license at EMT‑B level or above, or unexpired CNA license.
CPR card at provider level.
Must be bilingual.

Food safety knowledge.
Multi‑tasking ability.
Communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Reading, writing, and speaking English.
Additional Requirement Work some Saturdays during times of increased beef production.
