Position Overview As a Leasing Consultant you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a key role in the leasing and sales process. Your excellent customer service and strong sales skills will help attract and retain residents as we strive to grow our communities. If you have a passion for people, sales, and real estate, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner both in person and over the phone.
Conduct property tours, showcasing amenities and available units.
Answer questions and provide information about leasing terms, pricing, and property policies.
Assist in processing lease applications and conducting background checks.
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and follow-up activities.
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
Support resident retention efforts through effective communication and relationship-building.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a combination of an Associate’s Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience or a High School diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience will be required. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their CALP designation.
Experience:
Prior experience in property management, leasing, sales or customer service is required.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is a must. Ability to work collaboratively and independently as needed.
Software:
Proficiency in property management software (Entrata preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
Other Attributes:
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
A valid, state issued, driver’s license is required.
