What You’ll Be Doing
Lead electrical crews in the installation and wiring of RTUs, VFDs, LCPs, switchgear, field instrumentation, and other industrial equipment.
Interpret and execute work packages, electrical drawings, and MOPOs (Method of Procedure).
Ensure crews follow all safety procedures, conduct daily safety briefings, and maintain compliance with NEC, NFPA 70, and company safety protocols.
Coordinate material delivery, inspect inventory, and manage tools and equipment on‑site.
Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to meet daily and weekly goals aligned with project schedules.
Provide training and mentorship to less experienced electricians and laborers.
Track crew hours and complete weekly timecards accurately.
Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a 4‑year electrical apprenticeship preferred
At least 8 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
OSHA 10 certification required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Skilled in reading blueprints, ladder diagrams, and electrical schematics
Familiar with conduit bending and installation (½" to 4"), switchgear setup, and control wiring
Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for jobsite documentation
Clear communicator with inspectors, engineers, and cross‑functional teams
Work Environment and Physical Demands This position requires working outdoors at construction job sites in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, and use hand tools. Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, walk, and reach for extended periods.
