In this position, you will be responsible for working directly with the director and deputy director of Motor Vehicle and County Services. You will be responsible for preparing the department leave reports, delegating phone calls for county service staff, and answering any phone calls that roll over from the director’s position. You will be responsible for sending certification letters to those who complete the Appraiser Recertification classes yearly. Also be responsible for working on tasks assigned by the director and the deputy director. You will be required to know Motor Vehicle title and registration, as well as the homestead, real, and personal property laws, rules, and regulations. You are required to be able to pay attention to detail, manage time, and work well with co-workers to complete daily tasks. You will be responsible for handling all job duties in a timely and efficient manner.

Excellent phone etiquette and strong written communication skills
Ability to interpret and apply motor vehicle title, homestead, real and personal property and registration laws, policies, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 4 years of experience
1 year of customer service experience (Preferred)
