ABOUT THE ROLE: The Business Credit Card Product Manager is primarily responsible for owning the end-to-end onboarding of business and corporate credit card programs - from acquiring and sourcing new businesses with an application through closing, account origination, employee card setup, Business credit card online banking system enrollment, online Expense Management platform solution configuration, providing training on the solutions to the business and its employees, and providing ongoing support. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert and administrator for SpendTrack (business credit card online banking) and related systems, ensuring smooth program launches, strong adoption, accurate configurations, and excellent member experience. Develops and implements Business Credit Card product strategies to drive growth, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing external business relationships, and ensuring product performance and compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Oversees the Corporate Card & Small Business Card Programs from end to end including the Sales Experience, Application, Fulfillment, New Account Setup, Implementation, Client Training, & Support.

Generates new Small Business & Corporate credit card sales through Centers of Influence, identifying partnership opportunities for further business development opportunities.

Accepts and actively works referrals from all channels; acts as the primary point of contact and SME for business & corporate credit card programs including collecting and process applications for business credit cards.

Collaborates with Underwriting throughout the application lifecycle process; clarifies structure and responds to underwriting conditions, working with the members throughout and gathering additional documentation if necessary.

Prepares & executes closing packages including requisite disclosures and agreements with members (in-person or via DocuSign).

Onboards new business accounts and employee cards in the system and enrolls businesses in SpendTrack.

Serves as the SpendTrack Program Admin & SME for all businesses, assisting with issues, performing maintenance, and providing support.

Enrolls and configures SpendTrack system setup including roles, permissions, workflows, and Expense Management if selected, setting up organizational parameters including cost centers, GL's, code values, and reporting.

Conducts training of SpendTrack and Expense Management for Business Program Admins and cardholders, providing guides and FAQs to enable future self service.

Develops and implements Business credit card product strategies and roadmaps in line with the Credit Union's overall business objectives to drive business card growth.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Commercial Banking, Cash Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product & portfolio management.

Partners with Business Development Officers and Retail/Commercial Banking to upskill teams on Business credit card offerings and generate new incremental card business.

Liaisons with Marketing as the product owner for Business Credit Card Programs; determines marketing strategies and assets required to successfully grow and manage the program.

Works with small business and corporate clients to maximize their card programs and generate additional spend and interchange revenue, including driving top of wallet behavior and EMOB activities.

Serves as the primary point of contact for complex issues from business and corporate clients including issues referred from branches/contact center. Works with internal teams to resolve issues and provides client resolution within all predetermined SLA's.

Ensures full compliance with department procedures and Government agencies, adhering to all Regulatory and compliance requirements.

Performs all other duties as assigned by the VP, Credit Card Portfolio Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education

This position requires a High School diploma or GED. A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.

Experience / Skills/Knowledge

A minimum of 3 years previous experience in the credit card industry or a related field required, preferably at a financial institution.

Must have a demonstrated understanding of commercial/small business credit card products and retail banking with a proven track record of developing and managing successful products.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Must possess strong service orientation skills in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values.

Must have the ability to conduct presentations and training programs.

Must have the ability to handle multiple projects/priorities simultaneously with an effective outcome.

The ability to deal with highly confidential information is required.

Must be PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the Internet.

Ability to function in a commercial office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: fax, copier, telephone, etc. Some travel required. Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs. e.g. file boxes.
