Role Description
This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Social Media Coordinator located in Ames, IA.
The Social Media Coordinator will manage the club’s online presence by creating, developing, and scheduling engaging content across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing post performance, coordinating marketing campaigns, staying updated on social media trends, and collaborating with team members to maintain consistent branding.
The coordinator will interact with the club’s community, respond to inquiries, and foster member engagement, playing an instrumental part in promoting events and enhancing club visibility.
Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student at Iowa State University
Proficiency in social media content creation and social media marketing
Strong communication and writing skills for diverse digital audiences
Experience in digital marketing and crafting strategic campaigns
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Passion for technology, artificial intelligence, and community engagement
Familiarity with analytics tools to evaluate social media performance is a plus
Prior experience managing social media for organizations or events is preferred
