Job Description Creative Director of Copy will lead copy creation and brand strategy across pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients. The role encompasses conceptual development, execution, and team leadership to deliver award‑winning creative work that supports client objectives.
Responsibilities
Own the creative process, sell ideas to clients, and execute in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
Lead brand initiatives, oversee teams of art directors or copywriters, and activate key creative resources internally and externally.
Participate in pitches, presentations, and new business development to bring in organic opportunities.
Manage project delivery, set and meet deadlines, and maintain strong client relationships.
Represent Omnicom Health in front of clients with professionalism and brand integrity.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as an Associate Creative Director or equivalent in a healthcare‑centric agency.
Pharmaceutical and healthcare experience is a must with at least 2 years of management overseeing 2–10 junior creatives.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative thinking across tactics and award‑winning work.
Deep knowledge of several therapeutic areas with ability to describe strategic imperatives.
BA or MA in English, Journalism, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
Experience and Expertise
Strong leadership skills across creative and brand teams. Share examples of client collaboration, innovative work, and project execution.
A strong portfolio showing award‑winning creative work across all media. Show your best pieces and walk through project briefing, concepts, execution, and final deliverable.
Deep knowledge of therapeutic areas and strategic imperatives of brands you have worked on.
Lead teams from Art or Copy Supervisors down to junior roles, growing and guiding them through challenges.
Professional attitude and strong representation of Omnicom Health to clients.
Positive thinker and collaborative team member able to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

The candidate must demonstrate creativity and innovation, learn medical communications passionately, and stay abreast of the latest creative and digital trends. The role reports to an SVP Creative Director and requires organization, remote team collaboration, and occasional travel.
