Responsibilities
Collaborate with the news director and assignment desk to plan, staff, and schedule daily newscasts.
Exercise strong news judgment and adhere to journalism ethics.
Write stories, build graphics, and coordinate with control room and field crews to create newscast rundowns.
Execute social media and online news production strategies.
Maintain organizational and time‑management skills.
Work weekend shifts and be flexible with longer hours and varied days as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of on‑air television news producing experience (training provided for suitable candidates).
Basic knowledge of newsroom computer systems (ENPS preferred).
Understanding of AP Style for digital platforms and broadcast writing standards.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Professional community presence and responsible social‑media conduct.
Motivation to achieve, self‑reflection, and openness to feedback.
