Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Territory Manager OBL for Shockwave Medical Inc. located in Las Vegas, NV. Position Overview The OBL Territory Manager will drive sales growth in assigned territories with a focus on new business, meeting sales expectations, and providing exceptional service and support to physicians.
Essential Job Functions
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales targets and maximize market penetration.
Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with office‑based labs and healthcare professionals.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and threats, providing actionable insights.
Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of Shockwave products and technology, effectively communicating value propositions.
Maintain a deep understanding of reimbursement processes related to Shockwave products and articulate information to facilitate reimbursement outcomes.
Educate customers on product use through engaging presentations and hands‑on demonstrations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction and sales objectives.
Provide ongoing training and support to healthcare professionals on product usage and clinical applications.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics using CRM software.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences including physicians, clinical staff, and management.
Stay current with industry developments, market changes, and regulatory modifications that may affect the business.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years territory manager experience in hospital‑based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred); may substitute 3 years cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
Successful sales experience in catheter technology, with satisfactory knowledge of occlusive vascular disease endovascular atherectomy and coronary sales (peripheral influence preferred but not required).
Ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plans.
Independent time, resource, and budget management within the territory.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals, and new users for company products and services.
Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Must not be debarred by FDA for medical device work.
Valid driver’s license required.
Works well on a team or independently, demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
Continuous sitting may be required for prolonged periods.
Staff may need to lift objects up to 25 lbs or more; work may occur in air‑conditioned and non‑temperature‑controlled spaces.
Pay Transparency
Base pay range: $120,000.
Highly competitive sales incentive compensation program.
Eligible for a car allowance through the Company’s Fleet program.
Eligible benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
Retirement plans: Company‑sponsored pension and 401(k) savings plan.
Time‑off benefits:
Vacation up to 120 hours per calendar year.
Sick time up to 40 hours per calendar year (up to 56 hours for Washington State residents).
Holiday pay, including floating holidays, up to 13 days per calendar year.
Work, personal, and family time up to 40 hours per calendar year.
Additional compensation information is available upon request and pertains to candidates hired in the United States.
